Eat for You

I really want to just chuck everything crappy out of my house. I have seen on weight loss shows how amazing and mummified some people were when they were getting a wake up call.
Here it goes; I found my alternative to eating disorders.
First step: Consume anything healthy
If only it were that simple, right?
Second Step: Remain active for my body health through-out each day
Falling into temptation happens….
Third Step: Realize and do not continue eating any of it… this will stop the addition of anymore damage to my body.
Fourth Step: Take small portions
Fifth Step: Shop for healthy temptations
food
Tea helps cramp my cravings as well.
Even little ideas for healthy eating are important, look at your baby food isle… amazing and delicious recipe ideas!
David Murdock on Oprah has great ideas about how to eat better. I am considering becoming a vegetarian after hearing his story. Although, I would miss my steak!

Photography Sharing Goal

When people I know have lost their photographs in fires or storms. I have pursued keeping my own photography very safe. However I found that if it is safe tucked away or un-printed and stored in several safe locations it will be of no use, therefore I have already lost it in a way.

Goal: Only Print Photography Sharing
  1. Organize my Best prints together
  2. Review Frames and Themes
  3. Create Artwork
  4. Order new
  5. Display or Use or Prepare Gift

Solutions

My Favorite Solutions in candle containers. I am re-using the glass for my face wash solutions. Very fortunate to have found a great combination for my sensitive skin. Contents: Baking soda, hypo-allergenic wash and drops of Mineral Oil as lotion afterwards.

Do you like the first photograph or the second one better?

I am planning on making creative artwork labels.

Who likes Laundry?

My thoughts are on how to keep laundry down to a minimum.

I love it once it is done, as everyone does.

Once I start doing something, I love to finish. I have problems getting started for anything mundane therefore chores are not my forte`. That is why I have specific times frames that remind me to work on chores.

I only wish to clean things over and over that I actually want to use.

I have challenged myself to start living the best I can wearing and helping my family wear only their favorite clothing of good looking combined with comfort for this fall.

For me and my family we are still trying to figure out what works best... usually using specific towels for each person and washing those towels with the corresponding person's clothing (using gentle detergent) My husband and I just turn on our built-in heater to air dry when we have time... I catch up on reading... very relaxing.

Greener grass where you are

What is love, if not something that keeps you going, breathing deep for fleeting moments. Calm rests in love. You search for truth only to find you already have it. Enjoy what you have for wanting what others have is pointless but wanting what you have is glorious. If you do want more with all your heart, do not force it and make it with a good conscience.

Shopping with sis

My sis and I went out shopping for a couple hours at a new Goodwill and we found some great items! We enjoyed eachothers encouraging conversation and helping pick out the best items. My sis is sweet and fun to shop with, there were several ladies who loved how we talked and complimented us for being ourselves. My total budget was $20 we came out combined to spend only $15. My sis is my Best friend forever! We have many things in common... I am very blessed to know my little sister!! Here is a photograph of my sister and I visiting on one of our recent shopping trips in Winter 2010...

Writing

Writing is wonderful to me. I understand myself more when I write. When I later read what I wrote back to myself I am truly inspired. Although not all of my writing is inspirational it does tell me many things I expect of myself. I expect a lot of myself as many people I have met. I stop to think, when thoughts pop into my head that makes me sad, angry or otherwise un-grateful for the wonders my life holds. Soon after I get to realize that stress in my life only holds me if I let it. Yes, it may get you down but no one and nothing has the power to hold you down if you remember the best that life has to offer. Do what you would if you were going to die in 6 months. To me that means start to do anything for a combination of relaxation, adventure and fun. Why do I write? Just for the reminiscing of good in my mind or to remember the good when I'm feeling down. What do you do to help you? Inspiration: Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug

Encourage

Hugs and Kisses from family is wonderful encouragement! We loved it when my neices K. and R. visited us when our baby was only 1 week old.

Encouragement is a great way of loving one another.

God encourages us to live to love.

Consistent words of encouragement is needed for the human mind.

Every kind of positive encouragement is essential for children to know.

Encourage is part of a Love languages: Positive Touch and Words of Affirmation

A month old already!

Our son is one month today! It seems like just yesterday he was only a week old (like seen in the photograph on the right with his cousin K. holding him). It is exciting to watch and see how children change through different stages of their lives.  I am at a new stage of life now.  Working to balance my life, creating my ultimate goal of enjoying each day as a gift from god.

Now for something new...to help learn my Art Life I want to ask...
Can you help?
  • My dad is having a hernia surgery this Friday... please pray for him
  • Read any good books, what are they?
  • Watch an inspirational show or movie and please let me know (I loved watching/reading Joel Osteen yesterday)
  • I need help with my daughter's outrageous behavior... what discipline methods work for you?
  • Did you get to look at my website? Do you have any comments and ideas? (Check out the changes since yesterday) I simplified my website Art Life; I am still adding keywords and creating Artwork.
God Bless You and Yours,

Moving! March 2010

I am praying for everything to go smoothly!
{I enjoy my writing Time for Relaxing but along with that.... I am typing with one one hand while my baby is breastfeeding in between (entertaining daughter with dance and song from beauty and the beast) feeding and caring for my other two children as well and changing diapers, I'm working on potty training my 3 yr old though...there is more but I'm going to get to the post now}

We are moving this month!

On to new horizons....

through the fog to the unknown....

A Beautiful New place to discover!
There is a valley full of possiblities that my children will grow with joy to fulfill each of their own ambitions.

My Views in Life

When I put God first he heals my heart and keeps my lifestyle healthy in Body, Mind, Family, Society and Finances.

When I have open communication or an understanding this strengthen relationals with others when I speak truth and positively.

Thought triggered by reading a blog post on WantingWhatYouHave
Healthcare is a divine right for humanity in my eyes when it is life or death, however cosmetic healthcare should be seperate and insured individually.

Value is all in who you are, how you buy and what you interpet your buying intitals.
I have noticed when I choose to buy something of interest for one reason or another. Both are required for me to buy, my past experiences of bargain shopping (second to last born in my family of 7) that create the need of savings or discount and something I think will be loved for it had atleast one useful purpose.
  • This is why I love making useful photography creations with great purpose
  • I believe in cherishing what you have, whiether they are resources from birth or hard earned
  • Organization is natural for me, it is to care for what I have been blessed with in my life
  • If I do no longer need an item, than I pass it on to another who needs it

25th Birthday thoughts

There is so much going on in my life right now... it is all excellent. Here is a sneak peak into my Birthday, current Blessings, Goals and News.

Before my Birthday, my sister visited and spent the night. We celebrated my birthday by hanging out and shopping at the mall.  We picked out a few items in a store called 'fuego'.  My sister got my birthday gift there, it is a book called 'Porn for Women', it is the most wonderful gift because it reminds me of how good I have it with my husband.  The book consists of photographs of hansom generous men doing everything woman want like asking for directions or cooking to letting us pick out the movie... sweet, honorable and loving!

On my birthday, February 23rd I had fun celebrating at a restaurant that was very nice and I enjoyed the food and conversation with my family and parents.  After the restaurant we had a cake that mny husband had custom made for me.  As my husaband was lighting the candles while I was reading the last chapter of one of my favorite novels - finishing the book 'Desire' by Amanda Quick.... (very delightful reading)  My family was singing "happy birthday" and I blew out the candles - thanking God for my wonderful husband, children, mother and father! The cake was a delicious chocolate double layered cake with green roses tapered down and "I love you!" and "Happy Birthday Hannah!" written in frosting on the sides.

My darling husband and I have been sharing sweet moments and keep clear communication to strengthen our love.  Times are good - with every moment shared, I enjoy and love my family even more.

This is our Last month in Washington, most likely we will be moving in Montana by early April 2010! I am excited more than I could say.... there are so many reasons why I will love this move.

Currently, I just started reading a new gift from my husband for my birthday - it is a book called 'Hannah' by Joel-Roul Sulitzer... this is another wonder of adventurous delight.  I read some to my daughter yesterday... while I was having her sit to get potty trained (she is almost there)... she loves being read to... my son reads to her too (I caught sight of him reading a book of animals to her on my birthday, what a blessing!).... He is doing better learning how to read everyday at lesson time.

Today I really enjoyed my walk outside, I saw an eagle gliding threw the sky - just below the clouds puffy perfection - sweet cool breeze was lightly blowing with the warm sun scenting it - creating frosted heat.

Shortly after we got inside my son's sweet face smiling with satisfaction as he showed me an invitation to his girl-friend's birthday party. That same face turned serious as he said "can I go mom?... call her tonight... please, so she is not worried!" He made me feel so happy and fuzzy with great satisfaction that my little guy is very lovingly considerate.

I am now 25 and I am working on writing my first book.

"True wisdom lies in gathering the precious things of each day as it goes by." Author Unknown

Newborn photograph and News on Breastfeeding

Click on photograph below to view Gallery

I am pleased to say our little Marc is eating on a regular breastfeeding schedule every 2-3 hours, for a while there he had been eating every hour or back to back than napping but he does do back to back than long naps still.  Just the times are more predicable.  We love the fact that I was able to breastfeed each of my children, the time span was not the same but each one I was able to bond well.

New baby experience with Pros & Cons

It has been a dozen days since I had my third child, Marc! We have much to be thankful for... the process went rather smooth...
Feb 8th 2010: Our daughter Jasmine turned 3 years old at 9am and Our baby Marc was born at 9pm

Our Day started with great anticipation for the call from the hospital.  We decided to sleep in and I decided to pack for the hospital visit once we got the call. They said they may call any time between 4 and 8 am but even as late as noon.  They called at 11am... I quickly gathered a little bag of needs, knowing from the past what would be needed or useful.  Books, Bathroom bag, My clothes for returning home and the newborn clothes. My husband was a wonderful coach from every moment through out the labor. He did start getting nervous since I started cursing from the wretched pain after 6 cm dialated, so my mom took over at the hieght of it and comforting through the worst part.  All of this was kind of blurry since they gave me IV medicine that made me dizzy feeling and plus God's gift to women is that we forget some of the process.  I do recall how sweet my husband was being.  From him going back and forth getting new wet washclothes, great massages and kisses and holding my hand.  Also while we were at the hospital my dad was wonderful about watching our children!
Pros:
  • Good Dr. and nurses
  • Healthy 9.5 lbs. baby boy
  • Plenty of help before, during and after Marc's birth
  • Loving and Supportive family
  • Natural Delivery
  • Free of illness through-out labor
  • Inducing helped schedule
  • Good insurance coverage
  • Enjoy and able to breastfeed well
  • Labor was a little under 8 hours
Cons:
  • Induced labor contractions were more intense
  • One odd nurse who was rude and hiding a cold
  • Vicatin pain medicine caused allergic reaction of rashes on my feet, hands and belly (ceasing now)
